My father-in-law can always be counted on to bring good beer to family events, and Ten Bends’ Cream Puff War was one of the winners that he brought for Thanksgiving. I wasn’t sure how I’d like a peach beer initially, but now I’m fully on board. The next time I saw Cream Puff War in the store, I had to pick it up so we can give a proper review and photo.
Brewery: Ten Bends Beer (Hyde Park, VT)
Rating: 94/100
Comments: Pours a hazy golden orange color with a foamy white head that is comprised of tiny, tightly packed bubbles. The aroma is very pleasant with notes of peach and vanilla. Cream Puff War is creamy and smooth with a wonderful peach sherbet flavor. It also has notes of vanilla, mango, melon, and pineapple. This beer is absolutely chuggable and I’m looking forward to visiting Ten Bends the next time I’m up near Stowe.
My husband also recently tried this beer after it was recommended in a beer group he follows – he loves it! I have to say it is quite easy to drink
I wasn’t sure about a peach beer at first, but it’s definitely good and easy to drink!
