Equilibrium C Lime Pie

Equilibrium Brewery seems to be one of those breweries that has been getting a lot of hype in the internet craft beer community lately. Since it’s so close to me, I decided I might as well give them a try. C Lime Pie sounded pretty good so I started with it. C is Equilibrium’s American Pale Ale, and this is that beer but with additional pastry and lactose in the brewing process and let me tell you – it works.

Comments: C Lime Pie is a pastry pale ale that pours a murky straw color with about a finger of bubbly white head. The aroma is of orange, lime sorbet, and grocery store cake. The flavor is fruity with a backbone of birthday cake, as well as being cut through with a sweet artificial lemon-lime essence. It is silky smooth with the lactose, while having a light body and low carbonation. Crazy delicious!
