18th Street Best Patio Pils

Well, it’s finally warming up a little bit for Spring. That means it’s time to start sipping beers on the patio, and many people will begin straying from the stouts and winter warmers of the cold months and searching for lighter fare that quench their thirst without necessarily weighing them down. 18th Street’s Best Patio Pils makes its case both in name and quality as one of the top beers to satisfy a patio drinker. I know I’ll be having a few more cans of this over the summer months!

Brewery: 18th Street Brewing Co. (Hammond, IN)

Rating: 89/100

Comments: Best Patio Pils pours a bright, clear, straw color with white, bubbly head. The aroma is of lemon, crackery malt, grass, and pine. The flavor is crisp and slightly sweet with bready malts. It is balanced by floral hops and an undercurrent of lemon. The beer is light-bodied, perfectly carbonated, and extremely well-balanced. It’s a really great, refreshing pils that shows the best of its style.
