Beer Tree puts out a ton of fantastic New England IPAs and New England DIPAs, so why wouldn’t we give their New England Pale Ale a try? Discoveries was another really solid release from the Binghamton area brewery.
Brewery: Beer Tree Brew Co. (Port Crane, NY)
Rating: 86/100
Comments: This New England style pale ale pours a hazy dark straw color with foamy white head that leaves a good amount of lacing on the glass. The aroma is a tropical fruit party with orange citrus, pineapple, and mango. The flavor is semi-sweet and tropical. Orange and pineapple show up again in the taste, with the addition of some lemon notes. It’s fairly light-bodied and moderately carbonated. It definitely has the characteristics of a New England style pale ale which is a nice change of pace to the NEIPAs that are so abundant.
