Brewery: Artisanal Brew Works (Saratoga Springs, NY)
Rating: 79/100
Comments: Pours a crystal clear green color with light, bubbly head. The head itself has a light green tint and dissipates quickly. The aroma is simply like a green apple jolly rancher, since the sour nature doesn’t come through in the scent. Don’t worry though, because the taste starts out with a heavy sour punch. It tastes of green apple candy – sticky, sweet, and thick. The beer starts off sour, turns sweet in the middle, but then ends very dry. There’s a bit of a late aftertaste I’m not wild about, but it’s a unique and tasty sour nonetheless.
