Collective Arts Raspberry Dry-Hopped Sour

One of my common phrases is “There’s no place that’s not worth going,” and that certainly applies to trips related to beer. There are a lot of breweries scattered around Canada that I’d love to visit, and Collective Arts is definitely one of them that I’d stop at on any road trip through the country. Steph typically likes to have a few sours around the house so we picked up this Raspberry Dry-Hopped Sour for us to try and it did not disappoint!

Brewery: Collective Arts Brewing (Hamilton, ON, Canada)

Rating: 90/100

Comments: This sour ale pours a pomegranate purple color with a fizzy pinkish head. The aroma is strong with raspberry, bringing in both the sweet and tart aspects of the fruit. When it comes to flavor, the beer is tart and berry forward. The tartness is accentuated by spicy hops at the end, but there’s just enough sorbet-like sweetness to balance it. It’s a light to medium bodied sour with a moderate amount of carbonation. Overall, this is definitely a delicious raspberry bomb sour that’s one to look out for.
