You don’t need to hear it again. Everyone knows 2020 was rough. People sought comfort and normality in a myriad of ways, and it only makes sense that beer lovers sought solace in crowlers and cans to-go. Brewers proved that they were up to the task of brewing and distributing in the face of a pandemic, even though we weren’t able to enjoy their beers in taprooms like we normally would.
These are the beers I tried this year that received the highest score of 95+ on my rating scale. They are truly exceptional and I’ll remember them long after I’ve forgotten the rest of this torrid year. Some of these have already had reviews posted, while others have reviews that will appear in the near future. Seek these beers out for a strong start to 2021!
