Fidens Do You Know Allen?

Do You Know Allen? is another DIPA brewed by Fidens I picked up last time I stopped by the brewery. Since I don’t go that often, I basically grab a crowler of nearly everything on the menu at the time. I’m sure there’s a story behind the name, and I wish I knew the story so I could tell it to you here – but I don’t, so you’ll just have to keep wondering about it just like me.

Brewery: Fidens Brewing Co. (Colonie, NY)

Rating: 81/100

Comments: Pours an opaque straw color with abundant fluffy white head. The aroma is strong on citrus and passionfruit, with a touch of peach. The taste is also made up of tropical fruits, with a note of white grapes. It’s exceptionally creamy and smooth up front, but I do detect some hop burn, which takes away from being able to enjoy this beer to the fullest.
