Beer Tree Into Orbit

As long as Beer Tree keeps churning out beers at this high level, you’ll continue to see them pop up here frequently. I am dying to get over to this brewery once the pandemic ends. I’m even more excited that their new Factory by Beer Tree is coming soon. It looks like a beautiful building. I’ve really loved a lot of their beers so far, but Into Orbit, a double New England IPA, might be my favorite IPA I’ve tried from them so far.

Brewery: Beer Tree Brew Co. (Port Crane, NY)

Rating: 96/100

Comments: Into Orbit pours a hazy bright golden color with two fingers of head, leaving significant lacing on the glass. The aroma is delicate with tropical fruit and citrus like mango, orange, and overripe pineapple. The aroma also includes some floral hop notes, as well as a bit of pine that holds it all up. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. It’s a juicy beer whose taste hits all the same notes as the aroma, but with stronger piney flavors and a dank aftertaste. You all know by now that I love what Beer Tree is up to, and this might be my favorite so far.
