We have been slowly making our way to all of the breweries in our area, though it’s been slowed down significantly by the pandemic, but we visited Unified Beerworks early in the summer. We showed up close to opening time when it was less busy and sat outside with our dog and we really enjoyed our stop. It’s always great to have such a good brewery so close to home. We were in the area not too long ago so we stopped in again to pick up some cans – and I had to grab Right Time and Place, their award winning hazy pale ale.

Comments: This pale ale won a gold medal at the 2020 New York State Beer Competition in the hazy pale ale category. It pours a hazy, dark straw color. The aroma is sweet and tropical with honeydew melon, tangerine, and some apricot. The taste is also slightly sweet with melon, tangerine, as well as some grassy hop notes at the end. It’s medium-bodied, smooth, and moderately hopped. Overall, a really pleasant and highly drinkable pale ale from a solid local brewery for me.
