Harpoon Dunkin’ Pumpkin

I like Dunkin’. I like pumpkin. I like Dunkin’ Pumpkin. Sometimes it’s really just that easy when picking a beer. I knew I had to try this one and it lived up to my expectations. It’s a good thing I got a six pack because Steph liked this one, too.

Brewery: Harpoon Brewery (Boston, MA)

Rating: 86/100

Comments: Pours a light brownish ruby color and is pretty hazy. It has an abundant amount of beige head that dissipates down into a creamy layer that sits on top of the beer and leaves a little bit of lacing on the glass as you drink. The aroma is of bready malts, cinnamon, light nutmeg, and brown sugar. There is a hint of banana in the flavor, but it works for me. The flavor is otherwise mildly pumpkin with some faint cinnamon. There might be a tiny note of coffee, but not much. It has a medium body, very little bitterness, and a slightly dry finish.

Steph Says: Aroma reminds me of a McDonald’s hamburger bun – in a good way. And the beer is great.
