Beer Tree Between Two Ferns

Beer Tree Brewing is quickly becoming one of my wife and I’s absolute favorite breweries. So much so that we actually planned to drive the couple of hours over to visit the brewery and spend the night nearby last weekend before realizing they were temporarily closed due to CoViD-19. We’ll definitely be doing that trip soon though! For now, I grabbed this Double NEIPA at my local bottle shop because how can you not try Between Two Ferns? Great show, great beer.

Brewery: Beer Tree Brewing Co. (Port Crane, NY)

Rating: 90/100

Comments: Between Two Ferns pours an almost opaque straw color with a finger of white foam full of small, tightly packed bubbles. The head leaves a good amount of lacing on the glass. The aroma is tropical, with light pineapple, grapefruit, and orange citrus notes weaving throughout. There are also some deep dank aromas there. The flavor is tropical as well, including grapefruit, pear, orange, and pineapple. The mouthfeel is very smooth and creamy, with just a little hop bite at the end, but this is crushable to the max.
