As I look out my window, I see the beautiful colors of the leaves and I know that it’s the Fall-est part of Fall but it’s actually been pretty warm this week so I grabbed this Raspberry Shandy from Northway Brewing because I’m hanging onto Summer as long as I can. There just aren’t a lot of beers better for warm weather than a shandy.
Brewery: Northway Brewing Co. (Queensbury, NY)

Comments: This cream ale with raspberry purée pours a hazy pinkish amber color with a quickly dissipating head. The raspberry aroma immediately reminds me of the wine coolers my parents would have when I was young. It’s flavor is raspberry forward cut with tart lemonade, which works well. It’s light, sweet, and refreshing – perfect for a warm day.
