It seems that the name for this comes from mutant hops that arise from deep in the fermenter, filled with alpha acids. I like to think that they name came from the Futurama episode…but either way, behold this Canadian brew: The Mutants Are Revolting, a session IPA from Ontario.

Comments: Pours a clear dark golden color with abundant pillowy, white head that lasted until the end of the glass. I get some biscuity malts and a tiny bit of tropical hop aroma. There isn’t much hop bitterness here. It’s light bodied and feels a bit watery. The taste is a little sweet and piney, along with some coconut and maybe just a hint of tropical fruit, but it’s not overly complex – probably aiding in its crushability.
