The noble wombat has been my favorite animal since I did a project on them for Biology class in high school, and Thin Man Brewery has brought that animal into the realm of my favorite beverage – beer. Trial By Wombat has a can to remember, and is a fantastic beer to boot.

Comments: This New England IPA is a really hazy, golden-yellow in the glass. In the aroma, you pick up pineapple in addition to a lot of peach coming from the Galaxy hops. Some light orange juice is there too but not a lot. It has a full, smooth mouthfeel thanks to the oats, which cuts down on the bitterness. The flavors match the aroma with white peach, pineapple, plus some passion fruit and orange citrus as well. It’s a really good, well-rounded NEIPA.
