Artisanal Brew Works Taproom Series #22

I picked up a 4-pack of Taproom Series #22 – “Pink Flamingo” while visiting Artisanal Brew Works over the weekend. Unfortunately, I started the day off by spilling my wife’s beer all over myself while adjusting our table – but “Pink Flamingo” (and a replacement beer for my wife) cheered us right back up!

Comments: Pink Flamingo is a crushable New English DIPA that starts with a silky smooth mouthfeel before turning bitter at the end. It’s an extremely dark straw to light golden color in the glass. The aroma has sweet pineapple and orange peel. The flavor also has pineapple, orange, and other tropical fruits. It’s an easy-drinker that grows on you even more as you drink it.
